This is our mk2.5 based track car, built on the weekend to be a track beast.
Initially the car started out as a mk2, but quickly the rust became too much and the car has recently been transplanted into a new mk2.5 shell, hence some colour issues at the moment!
The car has had a significant number of upgrades installed to make this a fantastic track car.
Handling
It’s important to remember that these cars have been on our roads for quite some time, in this case around 24 years, the stock bushes and suspension are not going to be up to the demands of driving on track.
Shocks
As a permanent track car the shocks needed some serious upgrade the MeisterR ClubRaces are a great choice for this, offering plenty of height adjustment along with 32 steps of dampening adjustment.
Anti-roll Bars
A set of Whiteline anti-roll bars where added at the same time as the MeisterR’s to further improve the handling and responsiveness of the steering.
Bushes
As a SuperPro dealer these are our bushes of choice for any car and the Slug has had all of the suspension bushes upgraded to a full set from SuperPro, with the arms getting a quick lick of paint while we where at it.
Interior
The interior has had some upgrades both for safety, practicality and a bit of looks of course!
